I have Downloaded Microsoft Antispyware for my Windows XP or Vista System but now my Computer Doesn't Behave. What wrong ?

Why will it cost more to fix my Windows 8 operating System then my old Windows 7 System.

You will not actually be charged more as our labour rate is flat across all operating system work, however there will need to be more time spent on the machine as Windows 8 is New and there are many bugs and compatibility issues to be discovered. This means more research and training for our engineer's and this inevitably will result in more chargeable hours then other operating systems. As Microsoft release service packs then we will be able to resolve your issues quicker reducing the cost to you.

What is an L2 Cache ?

If you ever wonder what L2 cache does for you in your everyday applications, just have a look through your BIOS and choose a temporary option of disabling it. L2. L2 cache provides fast access to the recently used instruction set and data, which increases performance by reducing the average memory access time. Without the cache active on your computer it might as well be swimming through treacle.

What is a digital certificate ?

Digital certificates (also called Secure Server IDs) are like virtual electronic fingerprints. Each one is unique and can be used to positively identify the person or object (e.g. a company's Internet server), who owns the certificate by the information contained within it. That information can be trusted, because it is digitally 'signed' by a trusted Certification Authority who check the authenticity of the information to be included in the certificate before they issue it. Digital Certificates provide the proof of identity and deliver critical elements of security which are vital to establish the trust needed to conduct safe communications and transactions with customers, suppliers, partners and employees.

Why will my modem not initialise ?

This error can be caused by simple conditions, such as the modem not being plugged in properly or not being turned on. A common error is that another program is using the modem. Another possibility is a conflict in the IRQ settings. In this case the modem and another hardware device are trying to use the same IRQ setting and will cause the modem not to function. It is also possible that your modem is not functioning at all and it needs to be replaced.

Why does my modem not detect a dial tone ?

Either the modem is not plugged into the phone line correctly, the phone line is down, or the modem does not function at all. Check your modem properties and select diagnostics.

Can my computer get a virus from the Internet ?

Yes. But only if you download a program and run it. Be selective about the sites you visit and the files you download. We also suggest you get one of the many good virus protection programs that are available.
